KrabbeConnect is a nonprofit organization based out of Rosemount, MN. We organized in 2017 to help individuals and families impacted by Krabbe disease, a rare and devastating genetic disorder that primarily affects the nervous system. Individuals diagnosed with this disease face significant challenges and live a shortened life.
All funds raised by this endeavor will be dedicated to our patient assistance programs. This program helps provide families financial relief during extended hospital stays, helps patients access used equipment to help improve their quality of life, funds therapeutic interventions not covered by insurance (horse therapy), and provides disease-educated mentors to help families navigate the disease. Many families caring for a loved one with Krabbe disease rely on this program.
