Morris-Jumel Mansion's Three Bottle Wine Collection
Morris-Jumel Mansion’s Sweet Lips Madeira, Hints of dark cherry, complimented by the perfect amount of sweetness. Chambourcin wine fortified with brandy.
Morris-Jumel Mansion's Sweet Lips Madeira blend is the marriage of two of George Washington's favorite things - his love of Madeira wine, and love of dogs. Sweet Lips was one of the many creative names which Washington gave the dogs he owned and bred, and Washington is widely credited with being the premier breeder of the American Foxhound. Madeira was the favored drink of the “Founding Fathers" and was consumed in celebration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, among other major early American milestones. Huzzah!
Morris-Jumel Mansion’s White House Wine, This off-dry white blend is made from un-oaked Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris. It sports apricot notes and a smooth finish with medium acidity.
