Our story begins with Darla Daniel, the founder of Orphan-Annimals. Darla has always had a great love of animals and is a farrier by trade. She started out saving injured horses and dogs; over the years things began to take on a life of their own as she began saving farm animals of all kinds. Darla has been doing this for over 20 years, all on her own. After friends and family encouraged her, she became an official non-profit. Orphan-Annimals is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to rescue, rehabilitate, retire and occasionally rehome through foster, neglected, abandoned and abused farm animals. We want to educate the public regarding the care and needs of these gentle farm creatures.
Orphan-Annimals provides immediate medical care, regular veterinary care, food and shelter to our rescued animals. We create tailored programs for each animal that comes to us to help them realize their full potential and ensure they lead happy, healthy lives. Our work is solely supported by donations and committed volunteers. Please join us on our journey of rescuing farm animals, helping them heal and watching them become happy and healthy!
