Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center is an open admission animal shelter serving over 5,000 animals per year in Camden County, NJ including the City of Camden.  Being open admission means that we accept every lost and homeless animal in need---when they need us. We have one of the highest live release rates of any open admission shelter in our region---over 94% this year so far!  Our team also operates a low-cost veterinary clinic and a pet food pantry for families in need in our community.  Our work is only getting more difficult, as intake to the shelter is increasing and the cost of providing services is skyrocketing.
