Since its construction in 1765, Morris-Jumel Mansion has been surrounded by sweeping lawns and gardens. A prominent feature of the ground's landscape today are many heritage rose bushes containing rare varieties from the 19th Century and earlier. Morris-Jumel is a proud member of the Heritage Rose District of New York City. Learn more about our roses at heritagerosefoundation.org or morrisjumel.org.
